ABSTRACTIONS

Using Kodak High Speed black and white Infrared film, I have been constantly exploring the effects of infrared light throughout the world. The sensitivity of infrared film allows me to see “through” and “beyond” the image. Infrared film is also temperature sensitive so that fragments of the images that are warmer appear lighter and those that are coldest appear darker.

The resultant photographs reveal the mysteries that lie beyond the image and the hidden treasures that lie within.
